COMMANDER HAYDER BAHRANI

Commander Hayder Bahrani, born in Baghdad, Iraq, immigrated to the U.S. in 1991 and now lives in Libertyville, IL. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Dentistry (1997), a Doctorate in Dental Surgery (2000), and completed an Oral Surgery internship (2003) from the University of Illinois. Dr. Bahrani prioritizes patient education, tailoring treatment plans for lifelong health.

A three-time Navy Commendation awardee, he provides dental care at Bright Dental, specializing in oral surgery for all ages.

Professional Skills

In the Naval Reserve (since 2008), he has held key roles, including Training Officer, AOIC, and OIC at Expeditionary Medical Facility Great Lakes. He led dental teams in four Innovative Readiness Training exercises and served as Assistant Senior Dental Executive at NMRTC Corpus Christi. Currently, he is the Medical Director (N9) at NMRTC Corpus Christi and Manpower Officer at NMRTC New England.
